Drill PressThe drill press also known as a bench drill is capable of drilling accurately spaced holes at specific depths, widths, and straightness. A bench mounted drill press is smaller and quite portable, but a floor mounted model is typically more powerful and has more accessory options. The three pronged handle give the user more control over the movement of the bit and enhance ease to raise and lower the drill bit. A depth stop may be used to prevent the bit from moving past a certain point, therefore allowing the user to make consistent depth holes in various locations on all sorts of applications. The size of the drill press is determined by measuring the distance from the drill head chuck to the column. This measurement is doubled to determine the drill press's size. A variable speed drill press allows the user to apply the drill press with a range of applications. Eg. drilling holes, sanding materials etc. It also allows the user to control the amount of force and friction on the drill bit preventing wear and tear or even breakage. |

Woodman is a brand of Machinery mostly imported from Taiwan. In Australia there are a number of companies that import the Woodman brand forming the Woodman Group. Gregory Machinery are part of the Woodman Group in Brisbane, while the other members are based in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The thing that makes the Woodman brand different to other machinery imported from Taiwan or China, is that the machinery is hand picked and inspected by Gregory Machinery themselves. Our experienced staff visits the factories and inspects the machinery in the line of production. It is then that a decision is made to import the machinery on the quality, reliability and value of the machine as well as the quality and reliability of the manufacturer.
Once a new Woodman product has been introduced to Gregory Machinery they are then tested again in our work shop by our technical and electrical staff.
